DeepTrace ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Fopstech. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the DeepTrace mobile application ("App").

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

Media files: Images and videos you choose to submit for analysis. These are sent to our servers solely for the purpose of analysis and are not stored after processing.
Image URLs: URLs you paste for analysis. These are fetched by our server and not logged or stored.
Scan history: Stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your scan history.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require account creation or collect personal information such as name, email, or phone number.
We do not collect location data.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
We do not store submitted media after analysis is complete.

3. Third-Party Services

DeepTrace uses the following third-party services to perform analysis:

Google Gemini API — used for AI-based image and video analysis. Media is transmitted to Google's servers for processing. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Cloud Vision API — used for reverse image search and web presence analysis. See Google's Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Your Data

Media you submit is used exclusively to generate analysis results displayed to you. It is not used for training AI models, marketing, or any other purpose.

5. Data Retention

Submitted media is processed in real time and is not retained on our servers after the analysis response is returned. Scan history is stored only on your device and can be cleared at any time from within the App.

6. Children's Privacy

DeepTrace is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

All media is transmitted to our servers over encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not store media after processing is complete.

8. Analysis Disclaimer

Results provided by DeepTrace are probabilistic AI estimates and may not be accurate. They do not constitute professional, legal, or forensic analysis. Always verify results through multiple independent sources.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
